This event will serve as the first step of three required to earn a spot on the USA Select U16 and U18 teams. By completing this application, you are opting out of trying out in-person at an NTDP regional tryout, and instead are applying through the virtual process. The following application will ask for highlight film of the applicant, and the contact information of 2 coach references.

Tips on filling out the virtual application:
- In the space provided within the application, please copy and paste the link for your film. It can be a Youtube, Hudl, SportsRecruit, ConnectLax link etc.
- When scoring film, our committee of evaluators will be looking at player's athleticism, stick work, positional skill, game IQ, decision making and overall field presence.
- There is no specific format required for the film. Existing recruiting links and different highlights mixed together is ideal.
- Don't shy away from including mistakes and errors on film. We realize the tendency is to show only highlights, but what we're also looking for is how a player comes back/recovers when they make a mistake. How they respond to failure. Might be hard to incorporate on film, and of course, it's a lot easier to capture watching a full game in person, but we appreciate it when it's acknowledged.
